14-1. Searching messages

[Searching by message status]
Select Unread, Read, Unsent or Sent in Find submenu from File menu. Musashi shows messages matching the status on Virtual Message Viewer.

[Searching by detailed conditions]
By selecting Find... in Find submenu from File menu, you can search messages according to the detailed conditions.

[Searching string in messages]
When Message Viewer or Virtual Message Viewer is front, by selecting Find string... in Find submenu from File menu, you can search a specific string in the listed messages.

14-2. Saving message into text file

Select messages in the list of Message Viewer or Virtual Message Viewer and then select Save as... from File menu. Or drag selected messages and drop into samewhere in your desktop. You can save those messages as text file.

14-3. Printing messages

Select messages in the list of Message Viewer or Virtual Message Viewer and then select Print... from File menu. You can print those messages to your printer.

14-4. View options

You can change the window colors and window fonts by selection View options... from View menu. For example, when Folder Viewer is front, you can set the view options for Folder Viewer.
Musashi supports mult-language font setting. You can set different font for each language. For example, you can set the font A for Japanese text encoding and the font B for Latin text encoding.

14-5. Using plug-ins

If plug-ins are installed, you can import external messages, import external address book, export messages and export address book.

[Importing messages]
Select Import messages... from Options menu. The imported messages will be shown in Virtual Message Viewer.

[Exporting messages]
Select Export messages... from Options menu.

[Importing address book] Select Import address book... from Options menu. The imported address entries will be shown in Address Book Editor.

[Exporting address book]
Select Export address book... from Options menu.

14-6. Forwarding messages between users

Since Musashi is multi-user compatible, A user cannot see other users' messages. You can, however, forward the messages to other users. In this case Musashi forwards messages using local file, so you don't need to connect with any servers. To forward messages to other users, click Local Forward... on Message Viewer or Virtual Message Viewer, or select Local Forward... from Forward submenu in Do menu.

14-7. Converting old configuration files

When you start Musashi version 3.x at first time (you don't have any configuration files for version 3.x), Musashi tries to convert old configuration file if the old configuration files are found on your Macintosh.
